Photographer’s Note
The ruins of the ancient Aztec city of Teotihuacán are so huge that there was nothing comparable in Europe at the time that Hernán Cortés arrived to the "New Spain".
What we see in the picture is the sight from the top of the Pyramid of the Moon (la pirámide de la Luna), having on the left hand side the biggest pyramid of the archeologycal site; the pyramid of the Sun (la pirámide del Sol), and right in from of us the "street of the Dead" (La Calzada de los Muertos), which takes several kilometers of the area.
I wanted to post this picture, as I still have in my mind how small I felt at that moment, and I think those turists on the foreground can express that feeling much better than I would do it myself.

Bonjour Javier,
Endroit grandiose que je ne connais absolument pas. La civilisation Aztèque m'a toujour fasciné.
Cette photo montre bien l'aspect grandiose du lieu et sa magie. J'aime beaucoup.
Bon travail.
Bien cordialement.
Jean-Charles.

Dear Javier,
Great impressive shot! I find the b/w effect works great here: it renders the photo so much more powerful and it defines the picture better than if it had been in color!
The composition in general is well balanced (with the people at the bottom, looking startled, confused but certainly impressed), the city and the pyramids in the middle ground with the mountains to blend in perfectly with the sky... yes, I believe this is a very nice shot and it has been well edited!
thank you very much for sharing this wonder this way, it is really revealing!
all the best, Anne-Sophie.
