Photographer’s Note

The Catholic Cathedral of Notre Dame was built between 1877 and 1880, allegedly on the site of an old Pagoda. Its outer architecture is a replica of the Notre Dame cathedral in Paris. It is the oldest cathedral in southern Vietnam. Mass are still being held several times a day.

I like it, the symmetry and persective, visually arresting.

Excellent composition leading the eye right to the center of the photo. I like the B&W effect as well - it highlights the composition.

A beautiful interior, great perspective with a nice symmetry. a little overexposed on the foreground (the chair)? Anyway it's a very great shot.

Très jolie vue de la nef centrale, Thien. Intéressante photo architecturale du dix-neuvième siècle. Le choix du noir et blanc est parfait. L'édifice semble très bien entretenu.

Very well done; I love these kinds of pics. Not so easy. Nice in B&W.
A small tip: if you want to create a greater scense of hight, take your picture close to the ground. Just give it a try and see if you like.

Excellent choice for a B&W composition here, Thien. The perspective of looking down the church is quite amazing. I just wish the exposure was a bit more uniform as the right side appears to be a little overexposed (but can be hard to do in places such as this...huge windows, doorways, you name it). Anyway, well done.

Excellent indeed.. You played here with lines, shapes and graphism. Black and white is a good choice, it makes the pic almost hypnotic.
