Allez prenez une bonne inspiration ... et expirez
profondément... fermez les yeux quelques secondes et ne pensez à rien ... rouvrez les yeux et respirez paisiblement, vous devriez sentir l'air de la bretagne (ça vous gagne) ;)
Je trouvai intéressant ici comme le banc était "inclus" dans la scène mais en même tant comme il lui tourne le dos ...

What i found interesting there was the "inclusion" of te bench but its position not watching the view

Yes, thanks for pointing that out about the bench not facing the view. Makes it all that more interesting. The shadow makes a nice compositional point.

Yes, it´s interesting the out-of-view position.. maybe it´s architect was annoyed by the beautiful sea view.. or maybe on the right side is something more interesting ;)
I like it, the horizont line is absolutely straight - excellent, toning as well, such a good "siesta" mood is in this shot :)

tiens c 'est bizarre que le banc tourne le "dos" à la mer, comment fait on pour admirer le paysage en se reposant? alors comme tu le dis si bien, on imagine et on sent les odeurs et on écoute le clapotis des vagues!! ouais.. poête à nos heures!!!

Sebastian the black and white simplifies this photo and creates a stronger presentation. Good use of lighting and from placing the bench on the left of the frame ..it really opens this photo up for the viewer to enter the scene. Nice touch!

cette image un peu triste correspond bien a mon humeur du jour, le retour est toujours difficile pour moi, j'essaie de reprendre mes marques apres un fabuleux trek au Mustang.

A nice minimalist shot and taken at a good angle to take advantage of the way the shadow falls. Nice use of black and white to set the appropriate mood and your pov works very well too. Great work.

I also like the eccentric positioning of the bench. It must have contributed to a lot of neck problems over the years, with people twisting round to admire the view while they rest.
A simple but elegant composition, and while the decision to convert to B&W isn't the obvious one, I like the result.

Nice one! I love the simplicity of this one. The shadow of the seat, the distant islands, and all those little white boats and their wakes in the water. No one on the seat, but the water is teeming with human activity. All we need now is Monsieur Hulot, in his funny old coat, to come and sit down in the chair. I think you chose well to make this a b/w. I love it.

je reviens te voir une fois de temps en temps et il y a toujours quelques nouveaux joyaux. C'est comment de sortir de la ville un peu pour respirer le grand air?;) Tu as raison, c'est bizarre le banc qui tourne le dos à cette superbe vue; À moins qu'il soit dirigé vers quelque chose de mieu? Ça a dû prendre du courage pour la mettre en noir et blanc, mais le résultat est excellent!

Superb composition, I need to sit down a bit to take most of the picture. B/W does it good, though I wonder how it looked in colours. It really is strange the bench is not headed to the see.
