This may be somewhere in the Amargosa Desert (part of the Mojave Desert), somewhere off the United States Highway 95 (Veterans Memorial Highway), from Las Vegas to Tonopah, Nevada. I guess this is inside or near the Desert National Wildlife Refuge, not far from the Nellis Air Force Range, on the edge of the Nevada Test Site [*] and Nellis Test and Training Range [*].
As this is not Iran, since 1951 there were 925 announced nuclear tests at Nevada Test Site, including atmospheric atomic detonations. Seismic data has indicated many unannounced underground tests.
I'd like to see this in panoramic format, I did try cropping, but I didn't like the result. So, here you see the original, withouth postprocessing. I didn't like the cropping because I like to see both the vegetation and the stormy clouds (some miles away, up on the mountains near Goldfield, there was snow).
Very rough approximate location of the photo in WikiMapia: 36.6316597, -116.3239288. I'd like to know a more precise location.

Isto pode ser no Deserto de Amargosa (parte do Deserto de Mojave), algures perto da estrada 95, de Las Vegas para Tonopah, no estado de Nevada. Isto é dentro ou perto da Reserva Nacional de Vida Selvagem do Deserto, não muito longe do Campo de Tiro Nellis da Força Aérea. O Síto de Testes do Nevada, para armas nucleares, também é algures na zona. Como isto não é o Irão, desde 1951 houve 925 testes anunciados no Nevada Test Site, incluíndo explosões atómicas na atmosfera. Segundo dados sísmicos, terão havido também muitos testes subterrâneos não anunciados.
Eu gostaria de ver esta imagem em formato panorâmico, fiz alguns cortes mas não gostei do resultado. Por isso isto está o original, sem processamento. Não me agradaram os cortes porque gosto de ver aqui tanto a vegetação como as nuvens de tempestade (alguns quilómetros mais acima, nas montanhas perto de Goldfield, já estava nevando).
