Hi Lisan, the two very well convey the energy of the district, very chinatown image. Love the light and muted colour, composition with the two and the tiles are very nice, but I am missing something on the left side, wish there was another pouncer.

Hey Mssssss pup!
I was hoping to come back (after seeing it this morning) and find lots of appreciative "fans" for this slice of action :( well...msss pup, I like it. For me, its a *fun* image with a sense of mystery about what the hell this dude is waiting for...he could have just robbed a bank for all we know...! or perhaps he is hiding from his girlfriend who wants his credit card! the mind boggles! Saying this, I also think that the left side is slightly empty, however, I think the "filler" needn't be part of your story...perhaps just someone leaving the shop might have done it...nevertheless, its a cool picture and you certainly caught a good moment...
p.s. I wish you would post more - your pictures are like a puzzle...

Cool, cool, COOL image, Pup-chan. You SEIZED the moment like a pro here, man. That young fellow crouching in the shdows, the older man striding confidently on, oblivious. Cat-and-mouse guerilla unfolding in the neighborhood, eh?
Lovely moment, sweet timing.
Very nice,
Francis
ps This deserves far greater recognition, IMHO

Hi Lisan,
Surprising chess style tiles. Strong sidelight and someone playing Jackie Chan. Fun in a weird way! Maybe he's waiting someone to come out. So it makes sense to have the door empty.

What I like is the tone... a evening yellow light and storybook shadows. And of course, without the squating man, you'd have no photo. One thing I don't like quite so much is the placement of the foreground person. He's a bit too much in our hero's space, I think. Full marks for mood and spotting an opportunity.. with just a little bit off for timing. ;) Maybe if a split second earlier, so that their gazes were directly opposite each other...
