Photographer’s Note
Kadayawan is a festival for good harvest. The whole week celebration culminates with a street dancing and floral parade competitions held every 18th and 19th of August respectively. It's the biggest and the grandest festival in the whole island of Mindanao participated by different provinces.
The shaven head participants are from Surigao del Norte, they gathered around and recited some prayers prior to performance. They have a strong support by their governor as he was seen with the contingent on the street. The delegates are called the Bonok Bonok and is a strong contender to sweep the prize.

Bonjour,
Belle prise de vue. Un peu moins de ciel m'aurait mieux convenu.
Bonne journée.

Hello Czaldy
The subject of your picture is very interesting. I like the uniformity of the participants with their bald heads.
The upper half of the picture is less interesting. In my opinion it can be missed.
I'll try the effect in a workshop.
Hope you like it.

Hello Czaldy,
I have to plan my next visit to coincide with a festival. Filipinos just excel in celebrating a festival. Nindot kaayo ang imong first post from Kadayawan. Very colorful costumes and the shaved heads make an interesting photo. The workshop helped isolate the important features of your photos, a different perspective. Sige 'Bay.
