Photographer’s Note

Ouadane is one of the most famous city of Mauritania. Build in the XIIth century, there wre more than 5000 people living here.
Totally deserted by the habitants because of drought and termites, the city hasnow aroung 2000 habitants living close to the ruins of the oldest part of the city.
I just sharpened the original pic

Le paysage semble très aride. Enfin, j'aime bien cette photo composée de manière panoramique montrant à la fois les ruines et le reste du paysage. Bravo!

Godd shot with great depth of this interesting place.I like the composition with the ruins at one side and the many palmtrees in the flat part.Nice colors of the dunes and ruins and good details.

Voici une bien jolie photo de Ouadane, j'avais mis sur TE, il y a quelques mois, un gamin rencontré à Ouadane - c'est une région que j'avais particulièrement aimé - souvenir,souvenir...

Par rapport à l'originale, y'a pas photo, ou plutôt si, comme on dit :o)
Les couleurs sont superbes, c'est une belle image, un joli choix du format pano.
