Photographer’s Note
Taken at the malnutrition clinic, Kigeme Hospital. This little lad was in the red, not as severe as some of his peers, so no hospitalisation required. Food is provided by the World Food Program and families must attend education classes on family planning in order that they do not have more children whilst they have children treated for malnutrition.

This is a really nice photo. Poverty is a dreadful thing. This child has the most beautiful eyes. So deep in thought. I wonder what they are thinking. Very nice. Thank you for sharing.

This is a beautiful child. I have a great dream of going to Rwanda sometime to work there. I like the picture very much. It is nice and sharp and the colours are strong. Murakoze!
