[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This photo was taken under very difficult conditions as flash photography was not allowed and, as you can see, it pushed my little camera to the limits of its capabilities.

There was little available daylight so I took the shot by resting the camera on a railing, (manually) focussing as best I could, holding my breath and pressing the button!

As a result, the photo is a bit "grainy" but I think it actually enhances, rather than detracts from the subject.

I have beefed up the contrast a little and sharpened it a touch, to add some definition to the soldiers.

The yellow collar on the soldier to the right is original colouring and, if you don't know the Terracotta Army, all of the nearly 8,000 statues are completely individual.

A truly amazing sight!
