Photographer’s Note
It is a high monsoon time in the Himalayas, many people don't like to trek/travel during this time of the year. Contrary to most of the people, I love travelling in the monsoons as it offers some excellent display of clouds and fog and I love fog and clouds seducing the mountains.
For those of you who are wondering how my trip in India is going, I am posting a photo of myself in the WS. It was taken during the trek earlier in the day and you can see me in my element. I am very happy over here in India as I am doing what I like to do the most, i.e. camping in the mountains and meeting ethnic people living in the mountains for ages.

Hello!
Great photo - even if a bit too dark (cow is hardly visible). Fog looks really fine here, overall composition is also very good.

Allo faraway Cousin !
Frankly speaking I have to tell I adhere to the previous comment, on my screen I don't even see the cow. The WS is a lot better, grand landscape behind you and we can see you're having fun !
Greetings and N'joy :-)

The composition works well here and the effect of the clouds/mist add some good drama here. Good use of the tones of grey and black.Thank you for posting
All the best

Hi!
Very nice mystic environment, but sorry the cow is not visible! Anyway, grey colour has been used beautifully here.

Great shot Sarju! It remind me the paintings/drawings from china. The composition of the silhouettes make a beautiful image and the sky is gorgeous. I almost can't see the cow that you mentioned, though, but I really love the image and the landscape in WS, is like honey for me!
Cheers,
Ricardo

Hi Sarju,
It's a pity that the cows were mentioned. Without it I might have not noticed them at all and would be perfectly happy. Now I start to think if it should be brighter after all...
No! This one is about the sky and silhouettes about trees. Further there's brighter sky, but nearby rain dims everything. And that's what you wanted to show us wasn't it. Strange trees over there BTW.
I'm glad to see you are having good time!

Hi again Sarju,
What is the obsession with the cow??? To see it or not to see it seem to be the biggest question people have on this photo. My opinion? I don't care! This photo, with the gost cow (:-)))) is just great. I like the mood of it. Monsoon is unknowned to me and I like to see pictures of it. I like the nice curve of the foreground darker part. And the strange looking trees...

Clouds seducing the mountain
Well Sarju.I did not knew that you had such a poetic hearh, unless it was always there and India is revealing it.
I do agree with you that clouds have many personnalities but i do admit that these are a little bit too charged with water for my taste.
Is it raining without end or are they short live but frequent.
Keep amusing yourself and enjoy your trip to the max.

Sarju I really like this photo showing the sky and trees with the wonderful lighting. I tried a workshop and found out you have oxen along the pathway. I find this makes this a very interesting photo. See workshop for details..

Moody and spooky in feel, i might consider correcting the tilt to the left side tree. Very, very good perspective with a diagonal reach of the shadows across the shot.

Sarju, this photo is talking to me so much ! I spent more than a week in such a weather, but it was in Darjeeling, and could not see the mountains for all that time... Nevertheless, as you write, fog and clouds can be beautiful, with their ever changing pattern and this shot is really poetic and also enigmatic, with 2 horns revealing an animal passing by...
I just love it, and hope that you won't object if I add it to my theme !
Bravo,
Cath.
