Photographer’s Note

This is ice cave near Polish Antarctic Station 'H. Arctowski'. Cave is in the Ecology Glacier. For me it looks like church. I borowed camera (Canon 20d witch 17-40 L) from my friend, he is on the photo, and make 3 photos, than I joined it together in vertical panorama.

Interesting composition. I like the three bright crevices, all leading to the lower right corner with the strangely ducked silhouette. The same goes for the subtle green-blue, color of the ice. An unusual and great image.

Quite a stunning photo of such a desolate place. You manage to bring out the chill (cold) that was in the air. Beautiful contrasts of light and shadow and wonderful use of a human to give the photo life.

I think this is the most amazing of your photos. It's such an unusual cave - they way you've captured the light gives an almost eery feel. You've stitched the images together very well.

Very nice picture! I can´t imagine how nice should be to get into a cave like this. I also can´t imagine how nice was your experience living in Antarctica. Wow! This picture could be a nice tip to dream about it. Excellent shot, with the lights very well managed. The black frame is my favorite and fits very well to the photo. Well taken! I will add it to my favorites.

I am absolutely in love with your work, however, when you started to use black borders I noticed that the boldness and thickness of the border takes away from the image itself. It would be nice to see thinner black borders around your work. Beautiful.
