[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Another picture of our memorable trip in 2000 to China. This day we paid a visit to some nice places in the surroundings of Dali. Very recommendable is crossing the nearby Erhai Lake with a small boat, to visit little villages on the other side of the lake and do some hiking through the fields.

This picture was taken while we were trying to reach our own little boat. We were scrambling through all kinds of rusty left-overs of old boats that were trying to float near the shore, getting a bit worried about the physical state of our own example. But our minds were distracted from our worries by local people and happy kids that came out of the boats to look at us crazy and funny tourists. Our struggle to reach the boat was rewarded by a generous smile of this little son of a fisherman.

The little boy is so cute and has such a lovely expression on him and his posture and yellow dress are just fine for this shot.
