Built in 1976, located in the north of Lotus Lake, the Confucian Temple copied the palace structure of Sung Dynasty.
In Taiwan, Teacher’s day is Confucian’s birthday. A memorial ceremony is offered in Confucian Temple in the early morning. Complied with ancient rites, traditional music and dance are performed by students. Wisdom cakes are delivered after the ceremony. Some people queue from the mid night for the wisdom cakes, symbolized good luck in examinations.
