Photographer’s Note
This is the "Cloud Gate" in the new Millenium Park in downtown Chicago. This thing is really weird. It's supposed to be designed after liquid mercury. You can walk under it and when you get closer to it and take a picture, it looks like you have a fisheye lens. For more infromation click here. I raised the contrast and the saturation a little bit. Also I cropped off the right part. Thanks for looking.

Hello.
A very odd design indeed. This is a great idea for a photograph though. It's a shame how the sky is somewhat a white out in between the buildings, yet it is so vibrant in the sculpture...although, in a way it adds to this photograph by giving it some contrast. The kindof mundane outside, yet art reflects vibrant beauty.
Good shot and good idea.

A very strange shiny thing indeed. Perhaps you could post a real close o shot for that fish eye effect?
Interesting subject, good capture.

Hi Kevin, cool idea! I love the distortion of the reflection. Looks like a fun place to play with your camera. :) Maybe the color balance of this photo is a bit off? It looks a bit too far to the magenta/blues to me.
Thanks for sharing!

Chicago in a nutshell huh! Well taken Kevin. I don't know there is a blue tint across the picture. I missed this landmark when I was in Chicago. Heard about it. Next time I should stop by.
