Photographer’s Note

It did not occurred to me that I would live a day like 11M. Like every inhabitant of this city, I’m still shocked and confused by the pain, the anger, the fear, the lack of understanding of what has just happened to us. But we are far from being defeated. Despite the intense rain, half of the population of Madrid (more than 2 million souls), marched together against the bloody assassins that tried to broke our spirits. As long as we remain united, they will never succeed.

I believe that every inhabitant of this city shares your fear and pain there...Looking at your picture leaves one thing on my mind again : how shall we raise and put our children into life and into which life ?

A very strong documentary shot! Our thoughts and hearts are with all people who suffered this huge and nondeserved shock and we all hope for the moment when wisdom will put end to such insane events.

Hard to comment it, thanks for your notes and sharing this moment, I just left Madrid one week before the terror attack, I know how nice and warm-hearted people live there. So painful...
