Photographer’s Note

This must be one of the most beautiful beaches in Portugal. Located in a protected area (Parque Natural do Sudoeste Alentejano e Costa Vicentina), it's not easy to access this little heaven, where there are no restaurants and no taxed car parkings. The best waves hit its neighbour Cordoama beach, keeping away the crowd of surfers. Sea water is often cold, the waves are strong and there's a bit of wind most of the time. Bring food and fresh water with you, a portable ash-trey if you're a smoker, and a bag to collect all your remains at the end of the day. Definitely, it's a beach for nature lovers.

I've enhanced saturation and sharpness on this picture, but colours are similar to the real ones you'll find there.
