Photographer’s Note
If we had one more Beatle, this could have been the Abbey Road album cover.
Here we see the whole family. The infant in the middle will be about 9 months old here, as they are usually born in May each year.
------------
I want to start uploading some other stuff, so I'll stop posting crane shots for now. There are some thirty or so shot's of these birds on my Web site if you are still interested in taking a look.
------
Allowed Workshops so that Romain can upload the classic Abbey Road cover. Thanks again Romain.

I like you imagination, Martin, it is very funny. This is an excellent shot of b/w (almost.). There are black spots on the white areas and white spots on the black areas. An amzing puzzle. It's beautiful and very artistic. I'd trya bit tighter crop, but still, very very well done.

Wonderful picture and very funny too Martin. You did a great handling of the light here - I know how hard it is with white birds and you even managed to keep the details in the snow too. Congratulations with a great job.
By the way - I agree with Catcher and Zanni.

Well. What else can be said ?
Maybe be a tighter DOF would have bring up the cranes ? But I can guess how hard it might have been, especially in those circumstances (cold, snow, no time to set everyhting perfectly...).
Anyway, GREAT job !

Very nice capture. And it does remind me of the Abbey Road picture with the Beatle. So I did a workshop for the fun (it took me few hours) until I realise you didn't allow workshop. So here it is you can check it here.
If you allow WS, I'll be able to post it as a WS of your photo.
