Photographer’s Note
A chulpa is an inka or pre-inca burial tower made of stone. This one here, in a place named Sillustani, can be accesed very easily by road from the city of Puno (This is not a city, therefore I selected Puno as the city). Some chulpas are squared, some are rounded as this in the picture.
Sillustani is almost 4000m above sea level, so if you come here, do things calmly, and bring warm clothes.
I took this picture with a Kodak-something ISO 100 film. I dont remember well the name because I run out of the film I use to carry and I couldn't find it again, so I bought what was available here.
The man in the bottom gives an idea of the scale of this construction.

As this part of the world is totally unknown for me, I consider this picture a great TrekEarth moment. The photograph itself is a little bit dark for me, perhaps a pass at curves will reveal more details at the bottom and also on the texture of the stones.
