Photographer’s Note

this is a market place in venice, very crowded and very traditional indeed. you can get a whole lot of things in this market and the shopkeepers earn their living mostly at the expense of the tourists whom venice attracts every year. the pigeons seem to remain undisturbed by the huge hustle and bustle which is the characteristic of this palce.

Hi Binita,

This photo is technically good, the colors, the contrast, and sharpness are fine.
I have a problem with the subject itself though. There is nothing that "catches" the eye to make a point of interest. Perhaps waiting for a while would have brought something, a little event, or a specific position of people or birds that would have made a more attractive image. Just an idea.

Hello Binita,
This is a good daily life shot. Very busy and very crowdy. The angle is also good. The pigeons roaming on the road are very nice additions to this composition.

Nice low angle and excellent sharpness. Maybe you could have gone in a bit closer because the foreground is not that interesting. TFS, Gilbert
