This is Balijbridge in my hometown Zoetermeer. It's spanning the A12/E30 highway and the railway. It allows pedestrians, cyclists and horses (and their riders) to go from north to south and visa versa in the west of the city.
The Netherlands is a densely populated country and has a over crowded high- and railway system. This problem puts a lot of stress on the government and the economy.

This is a superb composition with some very bright colours. What struck me here was the peculiar shape of the bridge. I have posted a bridge photo and this one looks almost a half replica of it.
