Photographer’s Note
.
I am not sure if RICE has its own joy when it comes to a good crop to feed human kind, but, absolutely, rice farmers would be at their utmost joy as the harvest promises a high yield.
This day two months ago, at my suspicion while reading a local map that marked out with some rice fields, I started tracking to verify if RICE is being planted in the USA. To my surprise, yes, it does, and at a volume beyond my imagination...
I am from Vietnam — a country that exports rice and manually handles the havest with sickles. I hope I will be able to capture some activities of rice havesting in Texas, to compare how different the two countries are doing their agriculture on this plant.
All advice & suggestions are appreciated and sincerely welcome.

I am surprised that I didn't see this picture earlier.
This must be one of the hard-to-shot photos. Looks so easy, but I don't think so...
Cheers!

Great capture of Rice! This is the grass that feeds the world. The best rice I ate is from Texas. It was sold in California 25 years ago for a few years and then it stopped. Is Thanh in the background? Thank you for sharing.
