Photographer’s Note
This is my favorite photo from my trip to Paris. When I went to Notre Dame, I accidentally went into the entrance to climb the tower instead of the main entrance so I got stuck climbing 400 stairs! It was awful, but definitely worth it because of the views of the city and the gargoyles. This photo shows some of those gargoyles with the Ile de la Cite and the Seine in the background.
