Hi Sarolta,
I don't know if it is your note or my own mood, or if the qualities go entirely to your photo, but this is profoundly moving. Without the human presence and its shadow, it would not be the same. It would be a nice, graphical shot. The man, walking, do all the difference, giving another meaning to an already good graphical photo, as you are capable of. You froze it at the right moment, just before the man cross the line (or one of the lines). Very well done Sasa.

Just like you,I recently went through an airport,where time seems to linger,and is profitable for some soul searching.Surprising to find an almost empty place in one of these vast dormitory.
The presence of the man,going its way,dwarfed by the immensity and impersonnal coolness of those temple,is foreboding ,fit for the emotion that you are experiencing and the loneliness your friend must be feeling.These are times when you need your friend to be with you,as you are doing.

One of the most artistic imaginable ways to kill time at ZRH, Sasa. Great geometry with the alternating pattern of window grids and wall elements, and ideally placed walking silhouette (plus reflection) to turn a still life into a scene. Looks very good in the sepia toning. Have a nice WE.

I spent sebveral hour in Zurich airport, waiting for a connection flight, but I couldn't catch this kind of image, and now I am very angry about it ;-)

What a beautiful picture. It looks like something you would see- very graphic and rich. I like how tiny the man is in the midst of the huge window and the reflection that the only description I can come up with is the word 'chocolate..melted chocolate.' It reminds me very much of that. Lovely job.

Talk abut 1940's, this looks like an Orson Welles screen set for Ciizen Kane. Brilliant melting of precise details to focus in on the passerby. Lve tis one.

this photo is fantastic Sasa! it does convey the poignancy of the departure, and the feelings or grieves your friend is having. I feel sorry for him too;-( i am impressed how you got this photo, or even caught this one...you have a very sharp eye for this kind of photo, and i feel so jealous;-)) it belongs to the state of the art and could challenge any grand photographer, IMO... congrats!

This is amazing! Great sense of 'solitude' in this dramatic scene, much like in a movie. The light is very special, soft and well balanced. Good choice of B&W. And I love the way he steps on the shadow of the window frame... Super pic.

You have really captured the anonymous, empty, soul deprived character of an airport waiting hall. This is another one of those pictures that I don’t want to go technical. It arises too many emotions, too many memories to left myself travel in the vicissitudes of photography. I love the shadows that cover the entire scene, the wheelchair resting in the right and the resolute man walking with both hands in his pockets. All this enhanced by your personal sepia trademark. Really poignant!

Can we rent your graphical designer's eyes just for few photo. Beautiful in its composition and colors. I like thee progressive and gradual tones from shadows to brighter light.

The silhouette in motion and captured in this graphical environment. I think I would have removed those details in the shadow (a kind of couch) to get a more 'clinical' photo ;o).

To my surprise I had not come to write something here. I saw this shot but I assumed I already critiqued it. Well, its superb. Its a fantastic example of how to merge people with great geometry. The placing and size of the person are perfectly suited to this environent. you have him in the great light, and in a great walkin position. Great shot Sasa, and I hope your friend feels better soon.

Hi Sasa - I'm not sure if your desire for symetry here hasn't overtaken a better image which lops off the right side to perhaps halfway through the dark area - I know this gets to look like a more conventional composition to the thirds rule ....but before it was a rule it was discovered because it has the wonderful effect it does on the eye - the liht qualities of this image are wonderfully captured - very nice!

Hi Sasa, I'm surprised, I was sure that I had written something because I like this one so much, and had even read your note, but apparently something or someone else came in between, like my boss for instance ;-)
I actually do not even knowAc what to say to this image, except that it is so beautiful and well composed, beautiful reflection of the person, and some shuiny things in the dark area. Besides that, the tones are wonderful.

Lfe is like this, sometimes it shines and sometimes it dives you into the darkness....such a strong mood here. I like the way you have frame the scene perpendicularly to the flat wall. Superb compo as I like them .
