Photographer’s Note

Albert II, King of the Belgians (Albert Félix Humbert Théodore Chrétien Eugène Marie), (born June 6, 1934), is the current King of the Belgians and a constitutional monarch. He is a member of the former ducal house of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha. He is the younger son of King Léopold III (1901-1983) and his first wife, Princess Astrid of Sweden (1905-1935). His godparents were Prince Felix of Luxembourg and Queen Elisabeth of Belgium.

Technical notes photo:
Photographed while sitting in the back of an open driving car with hard contrasts due to unpleasant sunlight. I was standing in the crowd. Semi-blurred background is the crowd at the other side. Reflections in the glasses are there, difficult to avoid, tried with photoshop but after all they are there...and this is not a studio portrait after all.
You can see that 'somebody' noticed my lens:-). Or maybe there is a need for a good photographer in the palace?;-)

Très joli cliché du Roi, on dirais qu'il t'adresse un regard et un sourire sympathique. Belle composition, classique mais efficace.

Tu pourrais presque contacter la palais pour qu'ils t'achètent ce magnifique portait de notre Roi! En tout, cas je ne sais pas comment tu as fait pour attirer son regard mais manifestement, il t'a bien repéré et tu as parfaitement saisi l'occasion.
Maintenant, je me demande quel matériel photo tu as et si tu as dû recadrer beaucoup?

Dag Annick,
Dat heb je weer mooi voor elkaar gebracht. Proficiat, voor zo'n foto's moet je echt geduld hebben. In vele gevallen kom je zelfs niet aan zo'n foto. Technisch een zeer goede foto.
