WOW! You are getting better by the day Sunil. Or maybe u were always this good. There is amazing consistency in ur images. This one is one of the best monsoon shots that I have seen. The clouds have taken a real dramatical effect. Well Done!

Very impressive athmosphere here. I think to minutes later, the rain will heavyly fall.

Wonderful snap.Very nicely seen and executed as well. The clouds, the lush greeneries and the human presence all have given this snap a pristine outlook. The rain and thunder is approaching!!!

great pic with present and future action covered.
dramatic clouds indeed, bright dresses give a good contrast here. But did you give this one contrast and saturation treatment to enhance greens and clouds above. Over all a lovely pic.
Sidharth (i cant give points today as my limit is up)

Hi Sunil :)
Unfortunately, I am not a big fan of over-post-processing...hence the 1-pointer. I know from your last post that you would prefer an honest critique, so here it is.
This is quite a lovely scene, with enough impact, I feel without all that burning of the sky. My attention was taken away from the subjects because of that. Besides this, I love the colours in the bottom half - perhaps slightly oversaturated, but I still like them. I like the people and there postures - they seem to give off the impression that they are familiar with this weather.
p.s I did not mean to argue either. friends?
p.p.s - my inquisitive nature has got the better of me - who is the godfather? :)

I agree with the opinion just above mine...
The next think is that human silhouettes are too dark and their faces almost black...

No word is worth enough to praise such kind of photos. I think you really get the uncanny quality that makes one a great photographer. Wonderful dramatic sky and one can feel the wild wind flowing there. Excellent framing. Thanks for sharing such a beautiful picture.

Oh my God, this is a beautiful shot.
Shukla ji, your shot is tempting me to buy Nikon D 200. What do you advise? Shall go for it or not? A perfect Oochapan shot. Despite the powerful colours its the body language which is intersting.

Excellent monsoon shot. The sky looks dramatic.
The wind surely blows heavily. Lot of dynamism in it.

wonderfull sky, et belle composition avec ces femmes qui rentrent après de longues heures de labeur; leurs tenues colorées donnent un pleu et un contraste avec le ciel d'ou un bel effet

For me clouds are main attraction in this image but you have captured the atmosphere very nicely. I can feel the monsoon wind. Well done my friend.

Splendid photo, great atmosphere !
I'll add this too to my theme...
willperrett (9003) 2011-11-03 3:17
A potentially great candid shot, marred for me by very obvious "overcooking" of the sky. Wasn't it dramatic enough? By the way, the evidence of your manipulation is there for all to see in the horizon line, where your feathered selection misses the bottom of the sky!
