Photographer’s Note
This unnamed waterfall is within Finca El Duraznal, near Esquipulas in the Trifinio (El Salvador/Honduras/Guatemala) region. To get there, one must take dirt roads from Esquipulas for abot 11 km to the entrance of the finca, and then walk about 1 km, the last half of which is in the middle of the forest with no trails or paths (machete needed to cut through the foilage).
The waterfall is about 14 m high and is the second in a series. The first one is really difficult to get to (I didn't get to go) but I was told it's over 25 m high. It is estimated that a total of about 5 people visit this waterfall annually. Really!
The finca (farm) takes its name from a small village nearby, and it means "Place of apricots". Ironically what grows on the farm is coffee which is amazing! It is usually exported to Italy.

Marcelo nice capture of these falls. It seems quite remote of a location for only 5 people to visit it annually. Contrary to many who like to shoot with a slow shutter speed, I like a faster speed to capture the movement of falling water. For example see my photo on Shannon Falls and Brandywine Falls. The faster shutter speed captures the movement without much blur. Thanks for sharing..
