Wonderful play with light and shadow. The addition of the man added an extra dimension to the mood of the picture. Would you please provide the details regarding shutter speed and apperture value?

The light is fantastic. I have seen similar scene few years ago, but when I came back with my camera to take a picture, people already finished fired leafs and all smoke went out.

Hello Victor,
Great choice of Black & White! It really highlights the ray of lights. They all lead us to the top left part of the picture. Well done!
Like it very much!!!

Hello Victor,
I like this picture very much. I looked at the color version you've posted, and I believe you have made the right decision to desaturate it. It looks wonderful, and the light through the trees is very impressive.

hi victor
this shot is awesome. i like how the light rays lead to the silhouette, which has been captrued very well. there is a great feeling of solitude and a little bit of loneliness in this photo. a fine composition!

This is excellent - the smoke, shade & sunlight create a wonderful atmosphere. While the colour version is fine, the B&W version is (for me) superb.

The tree in the foreground looks like a jackfruit tree to me, isn't it?
Keeping this path, you will quickly make a large leap in photography.
Best wishes.

Hello Victor,
Those rays of light enhanced by the smoke are extroardinarily well caught.
The shades of grey are superb.
This photo has something magical.
Extremely well done.

PS. Though I like your black and white picture very much I must confess that your colour version is fantastic, too.

A very atmospheric and really quite beautiful image Victor - the compositional arrangement is great - although I wonder about a lower point of view - the light is sublime - such a special moment - it also seems to reflect a very south east asian approach to image composition which comes to us through painting - that link is there in my mind at least.
best wishes Kev

Utterly beautiful. Well composed so that the shafts of light radiate through the image, and well-timed so that you got it at the moment the hoe was raised. The branch overhead also frames the image nicely. Simply superb work, well done and thanks for posting.

Excellent shot! The b&w gives a mystic feeling to the picture. The rays of the sun lead the eye towards the man. Wonderful composition too.
