Chimney of As Pontes Photo

Photographer’s Note

I was fascinated by height and the streamlined structure of the thermal power station of As Pontes, so I place me near his base and I tried to transmit the industrial beauty of this structure with its eternal plume of smoke. I think that the light in the morning was ideal to obtain a good sensation of volume. The simple thing sometimes is beautiful, that it was a pain that this is an important focus of pollution. I tried to obtain a good contrast with photoshop and in addition to smooth a little the most shining parts so that the texture of the chimney was clearly visible.

Bonsoir Xavier,
je découvre cette photo ce soir et je trouve que le résultat est plutot réussi. Le cadrage vertical est excellent pour accentuer la hauteur de la cheminée. Une belle photo graphique. J'aime bien.

Bonitos colores, me gusta el contraste del cielo. Las lineas rectas de la chimenea y las curvas del humo se complementan bien. Todo da sensacion de vertigo.

Boas Xavier, bueno o primeiro decir impresionante por ver unha foto cando para calquera pasaría desapercibido ese punto de vista, e logo o traballo realizado co Photoshop e adecuado, o unico decir que un pouco menos de saturación na parte alta quedaría millor, penso. Gran traballo e Saudos.
