I hate mondays Photo

Photographer’s Note

Well, nothing much to say about this one. I think it tells the tail for itself. A monday morning, mother and son, a train going to Lisbon and some more minutes to rest before a hard day's work.

I'm not at ease with photographing people, but I thought this would give an idea of a common aspect of daily life that I'm shure it happens all over the world (wherever there's a train, of course!).

Nevertheless it still is a fraction of a second captured on a regular day somewhere near a town in the world :)

Very funny photo with interesting title and note! I am not sure about composition, in my opinion this women begind the child distract the attention. But still, congratulations!

Hello Decio.
Photo has a nice feeling to it, maybe the title should have been "NOT HERE AGAIN!" or something.
Ok so maybe the kid is simply sleeping, I still ike it though.

Good focus on the kid, the blurred mother (I'm guessing she is his/her mother) makes a sence of protection.
Colours are good and the lighting seems good as well.

Great title, Decio (the song by te Boomtown rats!), and a beautiful, delicate candid scene, captured with great skill.
This one relaly speaks to me.

I really like this picture. I love to photograph people and this shot is saying something to me.
As you say " a fraction of a second captured on a regular day somewhere near a town in the world." Brilliant comment. For me, this is what photography is all about.

Well, it's funny, touching and very much fit for TE! And the title is great. I like the shallow DOF, maybe seeing a little (just a little!) bit more of the mother's left eye would be nice. However I understand that it is an instant shot, so congratulations, because as you, I'm very self-conscious about taking pictures of people. You have a good eye for it, keep it going!
