This massive storm blew up while we were fishing one afternoon. The right hand side of the photo was light and there was blue sky whereas the left hand side was so dark!! I love storms but we had to hurry back to camp across the lake to avoid sinking the boat and being battered by the strong winds!

Hello,
a very nice view of a storm approaching. Very dramatic. And so dark, quite menacing. Best regards Kristof

Paul hi,
i see that the storm that hit me finally made it over to South Africa!Really great and dramatic moment you caught,a few comments only:the horizon is tilting a little to the right and there is a lack of sharpness, all details that could easily be fixed.
Regards
Panagiotis

Hello Paul,

Beautiful capture of a stong brewing. Good colors. The horizon is quite linear.

Hi Paul. I love the shot for its dramatic impact and the colour and light. The human figure conveys a sense of vastness about the scene. There is a slight tilt to the right. Also, the file size is only 54k. I think if you had not compressed it so much it would have a little more sharpness. Nevertheless, I really like the image very much. As you say, the light is different on both ends of the photo.
Regards,
Andrew

Hi Paul,
The light given by this stormy afternoon makes the picture kind of dramatic. The man, alone in front of the ocean seems completely lost and his position gives the impression that he is wondering how the weather will evolve.
Great scene !

Magnificent sight! The man in the photo gives dimension to the place ... you certainly captured the mood of the moment. Excellent!

Bonjour Paul,
Magnifique paysage au ciel tourmenté, que j'aurai le plaisir de visiter au mois d'Août.
Magnifiques couleurs du sable, de la mer et du ciel (peut-être un peu de bruit apparent).
Merci de nous faire partager cet endroit.
Amicalement
Martine

Fantastic colour and fantastic light, Paul! I love the sky/sea/rocks/sand sequence, in all their different shades and contrasts.

Hi Paul. Stunning shot. Would like to see the full file version to get the most out of this. A real beaut! Paul.

Very beautiful big storm. The sky is quite grainy, the image is very beautiful anyway. I tried to clean it up with NI, I'm posting a ws.
