Photographer’s Note
This was taken during a daytime hike through the Peak District. We checked the weather forecast (while we were in Manchester) and the day's forecast was for a sunny, clear day. However, when we got to the top of the hill we wanted to climb, we saw lots of fresh snowfall. On our way down, we also got stuck in a hailstorm and were soaked to the bone. Don't blame the BBC Weather Service - you can see in the distance that its a sunny day in Manchester!
