romblon sunset Photo

Photographer’s Note

This was taken aboard an inter-island ferry from Manila to Bohol from two years ago. Not exactly sure of the specific location but we just passed by the island of Romblon. The ferry is a relaxing way to travel and there are lots of photo ops (sunrise and sunset).

This is a wonderful image from paradise, my friend!
And I can easily see why ferries are good locations for shooting sunsets since there are few obstacles!
All here is very pleasant, colours... composition... exposure...

WOW ... just spectacular! I have never seen a sunset like this ... the color of the sky is unbelievable. Good use of the land as silhouette to break the horizon.

The colours are vivid and warm. Nice composition, since the brighter colours are in the centre of the photo. The ripples in the water with the reflection of the water add some nice textures. TFS Janice

Hi Danilo, marvelous result here !! Colors are great, did you made some post processing on the picture ? Very soft picture and nice looking for eyes :)
You can use neatimage software to reduce grains in the sky.

Hi Danilio,
I like the way you show the ferry's wake amidst the glowing sunset colors. The ferry is one of my favorite ways to travel. I think that's part of why British Columbia and the Inside Passage oa Alaska are some of my favorite places to travel. You make me want to visit the Phillines; a trip I had not thought of before seeing your photos.

if im not mistaken, you are passing tablas strait and the exact location would be between the islands of tablas and romblon.
