Photographer’s Note
This was taken yesterday afternoon, I was sitting in my dad´s shop, across from this scene. I've done this before, just sitting infront of something waiting for the right people to pass by. Only problem with that is that the metering and focus in my camera is really slow, so I have to focus on the wall while waiting and then click when people enter, so the focus is really on the background, except on the right window, because there the people are reflected in the window multiple times, thus in focus :o)
The boy on the bike kept going back and forth on the street waiting for his walking family to catch up, so he ended up in more than one photo, the guy with the toiletpaper seemed kind of lost in his own world, mumbling a bit to himself. I didn't see who the refelcted backsides belonged to because they were on my side of the street.

I shouldn't show up, I'm far too busy, but I'm feeling very lousy, and nothing seems to work today. Then the temptaion to take a look, is hardly resistable, and I find a nice one of you ;-) (Off topic: How is Luna and her offspring doing? I bet you're home a lot now ;-))
I love the reflecions in this shot, Line, and the combinations of people. The woman reflected, just her back side, but then a few times, is very nice. Nice blur on the moves.
I see he did his shopping at Aldi's?

Hi Lina,
Love this street scene. The blurred people work well and the lady's repetitive reflection completes woderfully the scene. The guy with toilet paper is fantastic, you've chosen well your subjects. B&W works perfectly here.

Well, Rinie has jsut spoken my thoughts, in fact I'm trying to put off doing a tricky job. Yes, I agre this busy shot seems to work, and the blur in the subject contributes. Nice in B&W.

The slight blur in both the boy on the bicycle and the young man carrying toilet paper gives a bit of an other worldly quality to the scene, especially so with the reflected figures that appear to be disappearing into the concrete wall. The elements play with the mind as though one had just taken a puff of a marijuana cigarette... or so I've been told since I NEVER inhaled... ;-)
I don't think you were around when I posted a similar image with a reflection that was quite fun. It was called Attitude.
I like the image and I enjoy hearing the story of how it came about. I didn't know you had so much leisure time to be hanging out at your father's store. How nice! Keep them coming Line... always a pleasure.

Hey, very good line, I like!
I like the temporality, the sense of time and the lack of it, all at the same time, so to speak, and I really like your title a lot.

Hi Line
Fine to explain that on the focus, with a higher setting and slower speed you will get a total differant capture although you got already that movement blur and still the people on the street well readable. It would be intersting to zoom more in on the reflection to enhance this effect.
Funny these toilet paper, everyone needs them except in Azia, there it is considered as dirty.
