I really like this photo, I did a workshop for you and cropped differently. I like the colors and the man is very interesting!
Good shot!
Linda

I like this photo alot and prefer yours to the workshop given. He looks as though he's contemplating something important.

Jacob,
very good RP. i saw your previous photo. this have very good frame and sharpness.
SAAM

I prefer the photo as is. I took a look at the suggested cropping in the workshop and didn't get the same sense of longing that the man has.

Semnan is hot and dry. Very hot and very dry. Is the man waiting for the "touraneh" (the cool wind from the mountains, or a loved one, or a religious promise to come true from around what seems to be the base of a minaret. This mystery gets lost if you crop it.

The photo extends well beyond its frame as it is, cropping would limit it to the man's physique alone, he is more than that.

The added contrast that was suggested also removes the sense of depth behind him, now the shadows there slowly go to black, suggesting a long passage beyond. With too much contrast it would look like he is sitting at his "hojreh" rather than at the mouth of a long tunnel (bazzar), waiting.

By the way, one of the best I have seen on this site.
