Photographer’s Note

Is it the Moulinsart Castle who belongs to the Captain Haddock ? Yes and not!
Hergé, took as a starting point the Castle of Cheverny by withdrawing the side wings to it.
Inside the park, you will be able to visit also a museum devoted to Tintin and its adventures.
Sensitivity : 100 ISO
Real Focal used : 65 mm

I like this architecture and the very well composed picture. A precise symetry. I like those long windows (in Israel we call them "French windows..) and the roof gables. I'd sharpen a bit more and add some contrast, see my WS. Well done, Said.

There is a tiny tiny tilt in your picture, a minor rotation counterclockwise should do the trick ;)

Un grand classique ! Avec un tel cadrage, on s'attendrait à voir sortir le Professeur Tournesol ;-)
Bel effet de symétrie. Il manque effectivement un peu de luminosité, mais je ne critiquerai pas trop, car j'ai obtenu bien pire que ça la dernière fois que j'y suis allée. Je me demande s'il ne faut pas être là à l'aube pour obtenir une belle lumière sur ce chateau.

Sans même ouvrir l'image il me semblait que cet endroit m'était familier. Et effectivement ! La composition symétrique est trsè réussie. Très bonne idée de sujet !

La symétrie ici est bien faite et je découvre le monument avec cette photo.
Pour la luminosité des fois on a pas trop le choix, surtout a 200kms aller retour on ne se permet pas de revenir toutes les heures, sur ma dernière photo je me confronte a ce même problème ou je me trouve a 1h30 de chez moi.
Bien vu une image nette pour moi Saïd

je viens de comprendre la photo avce l'aide de l'autre!
Je ne suis pas un fan de tintin alors je comprenais pas tout notament la symetrie !

Vu comme ca oui c'est très bien reussi, toute facon pas d'autre alternative pour lui coupé ses ailes.

Les plans et la silhouette du Château de Cheverny ont été inspirés par le Palais du Luxembourg à Paris (avant que notre ami Hergé ne s'en inspire pour le château de Moulinsart !)
Une très belle photo de ce château du 17ème siècle.
