Photographer’s Note

The beautiful colonial city Trinidad, besides Santiago de Cuba, one of the most HOT cities in Cuba in specific in the afternoon.
People do nothing if they don't have to do anything important but sitting somewhere in the shade.
If you are intended to visit this place be there early in the morning and bring a big bottle of water with you.

the COLORS that scream. Webb is so good because his shots, particularly his Cuban work, was so alive with colors. And so is this. I mean the sturation here is awesome, pushed in pp or not, it is really solid, powerful and rich.

Hi An.
Splendide ces couleurs saturées, cette multitude de beaux bleus qui contraste avec ces jaunes-beiges.
Intéressant ce pov derrière cette voiture.
J'aime bien l'idée et ca claque.
Le ciel un peu dramatqiue apporte beaucoup, mais je l'aurais bien vu un peu moins bleu personnelement.

Diepe kleuren he...niet TE doen he ;-)
Vind het hele plaatje prachtig om te zien, vooral ook omdat er links nog mensen staan, zo lekker in de schaduw. Deze geven een mooi contrast tegen de auto die pontificaal rechts in beeld staat.
Mooie plaat...met ene eherlijk contrast.

i really want to go shooting with you An ... you find places that are just full of amazing colours.

the colour here is just popping out of my screen.

i love old cars and it's a great foreground subject. the colours of the buildngs and cobbled street compliment it well. great shot!

A true colour attack, Anja! One of the most saturated pictures I´ve ever seen on TE, but here this is an esthetic point which works out very well. Nice composition with "in your face" foreground and nice BG perspective too. Good one!

Beautiful An. Good placing car in this photo - you've been lucky that has been parked over there. Great colour of this car. I like combination of colours - blue and yellow - it works well. greap work.

Lovely! I love the POV and the colors are stunning! I love the 3 main colors here: blue, green and yellow. These are the colors often used in Provence (where I'm from)to paint houses.
Great contrast, great daily life scene once again.

Hi an, the classic shot .... but not that classic cause you bring something more in it : colors are exceptionnal here, contrast is at a high level and you don't lost sharpness ... really brilliant picture, one of my prefered :))

Talk about colors! Yes! Colors, colors and colors! No doubt about it. A certainty! A blow in my stomach!
An, you have a great gallery of photos! They make me joyful. It is full of life, full of spirit, full of love and ... full of colors, isn't it?
This is so beautiful. You know what I think when I'm looking at this photo? You know in a hot summer's day, when you open a water melon and just put your face into it! It's freshness in its pure state!

I enjoy the blue touch of this picture An, what a nice shot here, composition an colours are exelent!!!
Very well done. Perhaps it's a bit over saturated but it doesn't matter in my opinion.

Hello,fantastic colours. Great point of view. Strange idea to have this car in forground that catch the eyes but after reflection it re-enforce the colours and perhaps correspond alos to something typical.

Hola An,

I was away for a while so it’s great to visit your gallery and find out all these great new photos. This one caught my attention immediately, not only for the striking colours, but for the great composition as well. The perspective is interesting and make your eyes getting in the picture. There’s plenty of good details, like people in the shade, textured road and cool license plate.

I have choosen this one in your very good "traveller" gallery for the style and the quality. Of course the Cuban side with the old car (which are very well maintained there) and the hot street are attractive.So attractive the photographic work with colors angle and an excellent POV.

This is my first visit in your gallery I choose this image first. I'm color addicted a bit and I'm working in the automotive business - so it was not so hard. The details and the sharpenss are also excellent here - the great DOF enhances nicely the background with the group of people at the corner. Could you tell me the details of this shot incl ISO, focus lenght etc...
