The big Inle Lake is in the biggest state of Myanmar, the Shan State, with a total amount of 4 millions people and 32 different tribes. The Lake is only 4m deep and there are more than 200 villages on or around it. The people, -most of them are “Intha” term than mean “sons of the lake”- uses the lake for transportation, and overall, for the agriculture: there are many floating gardens, anchored to the bottom with bamboo poles. Because these floating gardens, the lake, near to the sides, looks like a big group of channels. It's really beautiful and exciting to navigate through the lake.

This shot reflect the daily job of the people, taking care of the gardens, at the beginning of the sunset.

El gran lago Inle pertenece al mayor estado de Myanmar, el estado Shan, con 4 millones de habitantes y 32 tribus diferentes. Tiene sólo 4 m. de profundidad y a su alrededor hay más de doscientos pueblos, la mayoría de los cuales pertenecen a la tribu “Intha”, término que significa “hijos del lago”. Los birmanos lo usan para transporte, pero, sobre todo, para agricultura: hay muchas huertas flotantes, ancladas al fondo por cañas de bambú. A causa de ellas, el lago, cerca de las orillas, parece un gran conjunto de canales. Es hermoso y excitante navegar por el lago.

Esta toma refleja el trabajo diario de cuidar los jardines, al comienzo del ocaso.
