This was taken looking into the mirrored cone that forms the center of the dome atop the Reichstag building. Sunlight reflects down from the mirrors into the plenary chamber of the Bundestag (German parliament). There is an ascending walkway that winds around the inner perimeter of the dome, and you can also walk on the roof of the building outside the dome - one can get some great views of Berlin from there.
Uploaded for the Self-portraits Group Theme (my husband was actually taking the picture, I have done the scan and enhancements - hope this doesn't disqualify the photo).
[Edited to expand on Technical] Technical: Scan (HP officejet 7140xi all-in-one, probably not the best for the purpose but all I have) into PS Elements of a 4x6 print from a 35mm slide. Sharpened and contrast increased a little.

I'm big on shots like this, I like the geometric forms. I love the repetition of the figures in parts. It is a great example of taking the shot and being in it too :)I sure hope it won't get disqualified. Thanks for sharing.

Excellent graphic image. Good use of the repetition and mirror effect. The composition is perfect and the scanned is very well suceeded, as well as the pp work. Congratulations!
Have a nice weekend,

a very arty shot which has worked very well, I like the way your reflections start out small, increase and then become smaller once more. Good light and we can almost see what you look like!
