Photographer’s Note
This is a bridge across the Rhone in Lyon. The picture is actuall sepia as opposed to black and white. The white balls is the flash reflecting off falling snow.
I wasn't dressed properly and I didn't have an umbrella. And I probably shouldn't have had the camera out in the cold.
I'm told Lyon doesn't get a lot of snow in January. The year before, it certainly did't get anything like this much either. I come from a country that doesn't really do snow, so I find it magical. It was getting dark at this stage, and there's a nice dreamy feel about this.
