Photographer’s Note
The autumn color of beeches' foliage doesn't fall back behind more famous maple trees. Slovenian mountains are gorgeous in October mainly due to beeches. The picture is from Trenta valley woods growing in the heart of the Julian Alps. It was late October and the peak of colors was over. Only here and there a branch still displayed the splendor of gold colors.

Amazing beauty, brilliantly captured (again).
(Some might be critical of the same theme being so strongly presented as in Beeches I, but I find them all very stimulating. Looking at just your photos page - with Beeches I-VI forming a montage - adds a new dimension to your work.)
