Well, it's been a long week- fighting the flu for most of it. I got home and on a whim decided to grab my camera and head out to take some shots;
Camera? - Check
Tripod? - Check
Cable Release? - Check
Memory Cards? - Check
Fresh Battery?......
FRESH BATTERY?!?!?!?!.... by this point I was already at my destination and just setting up my first shot. My battery icon on my camera was flashing- I was almost out of power.
So I snapped off a few shots. This was one of the better ones.
This is Singapore's Clarke Quay. Having undergone millions of dollars in renovations, Clarke Quay is quickly becoming one the key entertainment areas of Singapore.
I hope you like the shot,
- Dan

Hello Dan,
J'ai regardé les deux versions et je dois te dire que la version large est très réussie !!
L'éclairage bleu est absolument superbe et apporte de beaux contrastes avec l'éclairage plus traditionnel.
Vraiment très réussi !!

no, it's great. i am happy to see the large version. it really looks good.
as i suspected, your exposure time is perfect, and very well done considering you had limited battery time.

Hi Dan
Excellent night shot showing off the modern architecture. I like the colourful lights and reflection. It certainly has changed since I was there in 1993. I still remember a restaurant whose waiters played a mean joke on Toni insisting that the dish he chose was mild when in actual fact it was extremely spicy.

Hi Dan,
This has really high impact in the panorama format, and that large post is mesmerizing. The diversity of colour here is almost Disney like. I use a double battery attachment and carry two extras in my camera bag because of my dismal lifelong battery with batteries. You did well to click fast to capture this great vista. All the best.

Good to see that you finally got the panorama posted - it's a gorgeous shot. One day I'm going to have to learn how to do night shots, but until then I'll have to enjoy beauties on TE like this one. Great colour and I like the refelctions also - nice work!

hi dan
Absolute perfect night shot. Top light control and just a delight to see the large version. The details of the water surface and reflection is just the best. Very good work

Well Dan once again I am blown away with excellent details rendered in this frame. The night exposure is really clean throughout. I am wondering the back of my mind whether this is one photo cropped, or multiple photos stitched together? Looks really good Dan! I hope you get over your flu soon enough to enjoy your holidays in BC. Cheers Dan..how many more hours left now?

Nice colors, contrast and sharpening, but perhaps the water is too much present at the first plan. Anyway a great panorama.

Hi Dan,
Wow, this larger version withouth the big white frame around it seems more impressive! I love this shot with such a beautiful night view. You have capture the light perfectly and the colours are so beautiful! And of course the colours from the lights that reflect in the water are amazing. Great composition and well captured, Dan!
