Photographer’s Note

Another sunset at Hauru Point in front of Motu Fareone and the Motu Tiahura, on the north-western side of Moorea.
With the low tide is easy walk "on" the water from Hauru coast to the two Motus that are at not more than 300 meters from the small beach.
On the water in front of Motu Fareone there was a colony of giant Skates, that came to play with people close to the beach! Some of them were wide more than 2 meters.

Beautiful gold painted sun rays.Palm trees remeber me on some paradise place.

Hi Paolo.

I like the dark green contrast of the sea against the golden rays of the sun. I miss something in the water, maybe a sailing boat, to make it a real paradise shot, but this way is really good, too.

Hi Paolo, i love this highly saturated and contrasted picture, the result for this sunshine is excellent, warm and deep impact, i'm very sensitive to that kind of shot.

Very good image, Paolo, thanks to the fantastic light, in this faraway corner of the Earth. You lucky guy, you've travelled to such remote places...

Great saturation of colors, love how the golden colors of the light invade every highlighted area of the image increasing the contrast of the rest of the image. Ciao,

Hi Paolo,
Dramatic and sublime. I like this vertical format, as the eye travels upward through the frame to take in the varying layers of interest. Despite the low light, one can discern all the ripples on the water. A superb sunset shot. Well done.

A good quality scanned image with amazing colour. I like the warmth of the shot and the way the light reflects off the water. Some good distribution of contrast too, makes this quite impressive with strong impact. Good work.

I wonder Paolo how you can achieve this quality by scanning. The shot is so spectacular! Very beautiful, golden Paradiso.
The contrasts are speellbinding... what a place... Dante must have written the Divine Comedy there... at least some parts!
