Here on the banks of Bindu Sagar I found another world... a place out of traffic, a cerimony and that winter light.
The prayer of the man that ignore the world "outside" and keep on praying deeply spread to his interior concentration and prayer.

This man with other was attending at a gloomy ceremony near a temple. It was the eleventh day after the dead of a member of their family and all the relatives where shaving and dressing new clothes as the gloomy time was ending.

Very nice shot! The angle is good and the clarity of the man vs. the softness of the background is well done. I think your horizon might be slightly tilted to the right, but otherwise I like a lot.

Hello Luka,

Again a great shot, with the praying man in the centre. He is prating the God of Sun and this is called Suryapranaam. This definitely reminds me two of my post here and here . One with the same light and mood and another of the same Subject. Nice peaceful image and great mood.

Superbe composition d'un moment privilégié que j'ai pu vivre moi aussi. Le personnage très concentré, la parfaite luminosité, le mouvement de l'eau, tout en fait un cliché magique.

This is an outstanding shot, good POV and perfect exposure, love the water, good note. Only minus that it is little overexposed on the top right corner of the frame.

Simply stunning, Luca, one of the best representations of Indian spirituality I have ever seen...the ripples in the water spreading out like a prayer, farther and farther.

Beaucoup de spiritualité dans cette belle image aux couleurs douces et à la lumière "inspirée". Je me pose juste une question sur le cadre blanc qui ne me parait pas très adapté compte tenu du ciel blanc en haut à droite (petit détail!)

ottimo anche l'usa della luce per avere uan splendida atmosferica mistica, exxcellent messa a fuoco, POV e colori.

Ciao Luca, this is so beautiful I just HAVE to comment on it before switching off my computer for the night... the man praying and casting circular ripples in the water, facing the rising sun, is tremendously powerful and wonderfully captured. The village opposite is nicely enveloped in fog. Very well done,

PS Take care of the frame though... just see that part of your shot has a black contour, but there isn't any on the top and left. Make sure to be consistent, do it either with or without black outlines,don't mix... but that is just a minor technical detail ;-)

Hi Luca,

Im very imporessed by this shot. The depth of this shot is fantastic. The temples and building in the back are a wonderful backdrop to the action in the foreground. The man you caught in a strong pose. But ofcourse, as others said already, it is the ripples on the water that are really the strong point. I like them because just like the prayer, they are going outwards away from the man who is praying, a sort of projection of the power and energy of prayer.
