This photo was taken in a swamp outside of Charleston, South Carolina. The surface of the water is completely covered with tiny red or green leaves that give the effect of wall to wall carpeting.

I love this composition! You have captured a beautiful serene setting. Colors are great! I love all of the little cypress knees! I am going to guess that the tiny green leaves you speak of are duckweed, but, I would really like for you to tell us what the red or pink is from!
I am thinking that maybe just a tighter crop would be fun for this shot. Removing the left side, and some of the right. Maybe even a vertical perspective... The bottom left corner looks like it has a cigarette floating in it. Just a thought.

that's something really special. Good subject. On the right side, your picture is a bit less sharp.
