Photographer’s Note

In the end of the day, I was in front of the train station to the wait of the train hour.

In the workshop I put one photo inside the station.

Český Těšín (Polish: Czeski Cieszyn) is a town in the northeastern Czech Republic, on the Olza river, in Moravian-Silesian Region.

Český Těšín The town combines both Polish and Austrian peculiarities in the style of its buildings. Because of several major fires and subsequent reconstructions (the last one in the late 18th century), the picturesque old town is sometimes called Little Vienna. The only relic of the ancient castle is a square tower, dating from the 12th century and 10th century romanesque chapel.

Today Poles comprise a minority in Český Těšín, with about 15% of town's population, although the real number is a little higher. This number is historically lowering because of continuing assimilation. There are no ethnic tensions between Czechs and Poles, signs of xenophobia or ethnic hatred are not known. In the past they were rather rare. The town is an important Polish culture center of Zaolzie. There are Polish elementary school and gymnasium in the town. Theatre of Český Těšín has a Polish and Czech actor groups. The plays are in Polish and Czech language. Some of the actors in Polish plays are from Cieszyn. The town is a centre of commerce and paper industry.

Hi Aires, it's a pity for the car in the middle!
the rest is well captured, with a beautiful sky and a good light on the bricks facade.

Hi Aires,
What first strikes my mind is this architecture is familiar from railway stations here in Norway too, for instance the one in Hamar!
Your POV is good and I like the inclusion of the greenery in front!
Good colours and pleasant details in the architecture, I also notice the beautiful evening sky...

Good image, colours are really bright and sature. I like the intense sky, throwing a beautiful light on the image.
There are good contrasts of colours, and the station creates a good perspection.

I like the point of view chosen here for this shot. The leaves and foliage in the foreground is a good inclusion to the shot and the detail is good with a quite, dynamic sky. TFS

Eu gosto muito de estações de comboio e esta está muito bem fotografada. Gosto muito da cor do edifício e do dramatismo do céu. Normalmente teria ficado "chateado" com este carro na estrada, mas aqui acho que resulta muito bem para dar escala à arquitectura. Boa inclusão deste verde no primeiro plano. Excelente.

Gosto da perpsectivia que deste, o fim de tarde saturou bem as cores do edificio, pena é que falte um pouco de detalhe.
O canteiro em primeiro plano, acrescentou a cor contrastante necessária.

Hola Aires.
Muy buena foto, los colores del edificio estan estupendos, me gusta tu POV y el marco natural con las plantas verdes al frente. La iluminacion del cielo por el sol esta un poquito quemada pero esto no le quita nada a la foto. El carro al frente no lo encuentro mal, al contrario le da cierta perspectiva al edificio.

What I like about this shot is the light & the sky...it seems to have increased the beauty of the station building. I also like the diagonal foliage in the FG...I like your POV here
