Hi Tony, nice shot and I like your evaluation of the contrasting emotions shown in the picture. That was really a beautiful day for photos, with the sun making the reds and blues bright and vivid.

Did you know that nwoehnl and I were also there the same day? I didn't either, but now I'm finding out who else was there too. It's fun to compare our different views on the same event. :) If you've looked through the other photos in the World Cup theme, maybe you've already seen our shots.

Salut Tony (nul doute que si tu t'étais appelé "toni" je n'aurai pas commenté car il me fait trop peur ce joueur italien), tu as trop de la chance de pouvoir aller voir ce match de la 3ème place !!! Bienheureux !!
J'ai déjà vu plusieurs fois cette photo mais je m'y arrete cette fois aujourd'hui pour y laisser un mot, car c'est vraiment le jour !! Merci les bleus, c'est vraiment un parcours exceptionnel dans cette coupe du monde, aller encore une marche et zizou deviendra immortel et enterré au panthéon des grands hommes !! :))
... Mais que ça va etre chaud contre cette fabuleuse équipe italienne !
