This is a shot from the trip to the national measuem in Seoul last weekend with Dave, jinju, peterc and vagabondtravels. This was in the buddha statues exhibition and was just the head of a buddah.

Hey Stephen,
ahh the Smeaton crop. I like it but if you are going to go for a srong crop, go all the way. perhaps a bit more empty space on the left could give a bigger impact and emphasize the cropping. Still good, and now I see you are putting a LOT of thought and ideas learned on TE to great use. Good work.

Steve, always good shooting Buddha! Good use of light and the DOF. That 50mm is fun, I am glad you are getting use out of it! Good work.

hmmmm ... this photograph looks familiar! ;)
i like it. it's a good shot and mostly, i like the shadowy nature of the photograph. it's darker and more interesting for the eye to explore.

wow.. that is totally dave-esque. but i still like it. there's some great detail here. a nice sense of history with the worn texture, along with the use of lighting.. it's a shame that of the 56 people that looked at this photo, only 4 left a note.. still, great job!
