This photograph was taken on a day hike from Batopillas. A mist blanketed the high canyon rim, giving an enclosed feeling to the valley.

Impressive view Erik. I like the focus on the cactus, gives the photo even more depth.

Excellent capture of the green valley and the mountains surrounding it accentuated by the cactus in the foreground making a very pleasant composition. The middle part is a little bit soft and could probably be boosted by several percent additional saturation and sharpening.

Really nice composition Erik! DOF is great calling our atention to the cactus but leaving us see lots of details from the mountains too. A big welcome on TE :)
