Photographer’s Note
He was some kind of a king, smiles for everyone, speaking scores offoreign languages, and had lots of charm.
I believed that the great ksar of Ouarzazate' would be a perfect background if I took his portrait, and he was happy to let me do so, wearing his colorful local blue costume.

Hello Izzet, how happy you make me this morning with this wonderful smiling face. It owrks, I'm behind my desk with a smile too.
This is very nice, Izzet, and a lot of dynamism in the photo too. It's beautiful, two main colors, cool and warm make a great combination.

bonjour Izzet, en effet un très beau sourire devant ce ciel bleu et nuageux, contrasté par la brique rouge du batiment, c est une très belle composition un peu comme "mistral"
bravo

Wonderful expression and very good light recorded by you and your camera. The aperture choice is just right and that background is amazing. I particularly love the inclusion of that sandy palace on the right. Good POV. A striking portrait!

Bonjour, Izzet.

Hi Izzet.
Is a very good portrait. Well, much more than this.
Is much more than his face and the expression of his face.
What I like here is that we can see something through his eyes. In english is difficult say for me, but I mean that is much more than a simple portrait.
I am sure that this "king" would be proud and glad with your photo.
Carlos.

What wonderful face and expression! Until I read the date of the photo I had assumed it must be from your old collection, for doe one really expect such carefree innocence in such complicated times? But no, it was taken only last year. Fabulous photo.

Bonsoir Izzet,
Joli portrait avec un arrière plan de choix. C'est un spécialiste de la publicité et du marketing local. C'est vraiment agréable quand on a affaire à ce genre de modèle.
Beau cadrage.

Hi Izzet. Beautiful portrait, the guy has a rather radiant personality and the photo makes him look like the featured star of an epic oriental movie :o) Beautifully framed, too, and a good play of contrasts on many levels - person vs architecture, blue vs ochre, etc. Nice work, as usual.

Hello Izzet,
très beau ce portrait et ce gars souriant à une joie communicative !
L'arrière plan n'est pas en reste de même que le ciel.

This is a great portarit, Izzet, and a very happy shot, which is pushing me to put Morroco in my travel plan.
I like the simmilarity of colors between his dressings and the colors of the sky, and I enjoy the nice old nud building at the background.
Beautiful shot.

I think your choice of POV has clearly changed this from a good portrait to a great one. He is an interesting subjecty with great clothes and a fantastic smile. Your upward POV emphasizes that great sky that matches the blue of his robes.

Excellent low POV to the blue sky to spot him in his blue dress with a charming smile looking besides you very natural and nicely included local architecture with contrasting colors. Was he sitting on a horse, your slow time setting included some blur of his dress in the wind.
A fine portrait with appealinf colors Izzet, very well captured.
all the best

A great composition, Izzet, incoporating the low POV and the building in the background - perfectly positioned. The different tones of blue and brown give this image a nice feel. Cheers . . . David

This is an extraordinay portrait,Izzet.
That is composition wise speaking.
But then...I have a little problem..?
tell me please Izzet..Did you treat this picture with some sort of 'noise removal' or 'neat image' post processing software.
If you didn't - I have to buy a new monitor.
But if you did - shame on you for not respecting your very own, magnificent works.
I agree with the opinion of those who are saying that "nothing makes photography more photographic than grain" and that in 999 cases per thousand - using 'neat' software worsens the image quality.
Yor Nikkor/Nikon combination is a gift sent for us, mortals, from heaven. What on earth could possibly prompt such an excellent photographer like yourself Izzet to 'improve' your little masterpiece.
There is a third possibility...That I am a complete idiot, and instead of monitor,I should go and obtain a new pair of glasses (more likely this one is the case).
Either way...charming photo.
Love, brother, love & peace
