Photographer’s Note
Late afternoon snapshot of the Lutheran Church named after St. Nikolai in the city Burg on the island of Fehmarn.
Construction started 1230 and didn't reach completion until 1506. Originally it had a "pointed" spire, but that was destroyed during a storm in 1729. During repair, it received it's "Barock-Helmut" roof with an octagon light house.
